Some people are defined by what they've been through.
Tina Marie Silver chose to be defined by what she overcame.
Born in Tarboro, North Carolina, and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey, Tina often says she was blessed with "the best of both worlds" the values, resilience, and close-knit community of her Southern roots combined with the strength, determination, and perspective gained from growing up in a fast-paced urban environment. Those experiences shaped the leader she is today and continue to influence the way she serves individuals, families, and communities.
Her journey has been marked by adversity, resilience, faith, and an unwavering commitment to helping others rise above life's greatest challenges.
Tina is a survivor of domestic violence who has also overcome emotional trauma, financial hardship, divorce, foster care, and seasons of rebuilding after significant personal loss. She understands what it feels like to start over, to face uncertainty, and to fight for a future that once seemed out of reach.
Rather than allowing those experiences to define her, Tina transformed them into purpose.
That purpose became Crowns Rise.
Today, Tina Marie Silver is an author, entrepreneur, nonprofit founder, educator, community advocate, licensed real estate professional, financial empowerment educator, credit education specialist, and business strategist. She is passionate about helping people move from crisis to confidence by providing practical education, meaningful resources, and opportunities that create lasting change.
Her diverse professional background allows her to help individuals and families navigate multiple areas of life, including financial education, entrepreneurship, business development, homeownership readiness, housing stability, leadership development, and personal growth.
Known for her ability to transform ideas into action, Tina has helped aspiring entrepreneurs develop business plans, establish new businesses, prepare for funding opportunities, strengthen their financial foundations, and create strategic plans for long-term success. She believes that education, preparation, and opportunity are powerful tools for breaking cycles and building generational wealth.
Every initiative she has created reflects a chapter of her own journey.
The Exit Strategy™ was inspired by her experience as a survivor of domestic violence and her commitment to helping others safely leave abusive relationships while building lives rooted in healing, confidence, and independence.
UNBOUND was created to help individuals and families overcome the lasting effects of trauma by connecting them with education, supportive services, and community resources that promote healing and stability.
Financial Literacy reflects her passion for equipping people with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed financial decisions, improve financial confidence, and build long-term security.
Homeownership reflects her belief that safe, sustainable homeownership can help families create stability, strengthen communities, and build generational wealth.
Push Sis Push™ & Push Bro Push™ empowers aspiring entrepreneurs with business education, mentorship, leadership development, and practical guidance to launch and grow successful businesses.
Thoughts of a Queen™ & Thoughts of a King™ promotes mental wellness, emotional resilience, and personal development, recognizing that true transformation begins with a healthy mind as well as a stable foundation.
Whether she is mentoring an entrepreneur, educating a future homeowner, encouraging a survivor, helping someone understand their financial options, or connecting families with community resources, Tina leads with compassion because she has experienced the power of rebuilding her own life.

Today, she continues to dedicate her life to empowering individuals, strengthening families, and transforming communities through education, advocacy, leadership, and opportunity.

We will never communicate in any way that exploits or demeans the women we exist to serve, we will deliver homes and programs of training that maximizes the impact for the women we serve to bring them the biggest benefits and facilitate the greatest long term positive change in their lives. Crown’s Rise does what we say we are going to do, when we say we're going to do it. We act as good stewards of the organization’s resources.

HISTORY
Crown’s Rise is a North Carolina 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides housing and therapeutic services to empower North Carolina women emerging from from all type of traumatic and life-altering challenges.
We specialize in focusing on the urgent needs of all types of women of all ages, that have experienced abuse domestic violence, homelessness, and aging out of the foster care system.
We were founded in 2018, by our Founder and Executive Director Tina Silver, who is a certified life coach, entrepreneur, and women's support advocate.

In a world, affected by racial injustice, economic disparities, gender bias, and marginalization, Crown’s Rise supports the most impacted, disadvantaged, and marginalized women to earn and save money, improve health and well-being, influence decisions in their home and community, and connect to networks for support. By utilizing skills, knowledge, and resources, she is able to create sustainable change for herself, her family, and community.
